Cookie Policy
Last updated: 7 July 2026
1. About this policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Statera FZCO(“Statera”, “we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website www.stateratech.io, what they do, and the choices you have. Read it together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally.
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. Similar technologies — such as pixels and browser storage — work in comparable ways; we use the word “cookies” in this policy to cover all of them. Cookies can be:
- First-party (set by this website) or third-party (set by another provider);
- Session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (kept for a set period); and
- Strictly necessary (needed to run the site) or non-essential (such as analytics), which we only use with your consent.
3. The cookies we use
We keep our use of cookies to a minimum. We do not use advertising, ad-targeting, or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share your information for advertising.
Strictly necessary cookies (no consent needed)
These are essential to provide the website and keep it secure, so they cannot be switched off through our cookie controls.
| Cookie / technology | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
Cookie-preference store (statera_cookie_consent) | Statera (first-party) | Remembers your cookie choices so we don’t ask again on every page | Up to 6 months |
Region indicator (statera_region) | Statera (first-party) | Records the broad region your visit comes from so we know whether to ask for your cookie consent before any analytics loads | Up to 6 months |
Analytics cookies (whether we ask consent depends on where you are — see Section 4)
These help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Whether we ask for your consent before setting them depends on your location — see Section 4.
| Cookie / technology | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
ph_…_posthog and related PostHog browser storage | PostHog (analytics) — hosted in the EU and served from our own domain | Measures how visitors use the site (for example, which pages are viewed and how long you stay on them) using a per-visitor identifier, so we can improve it | Up to 12 months |
We use PostHog for analytics. Because it relies on a per-visitor identifier (rather than only anonymous, aggregate statistics), we treat it as non-essential — see Section 4 for when we ask for your consent before setting it. The figure above is how long the cookie itself lasts; how long we keep the analytics information is set out in our Privacy Policy.
4. Your choices
- If you are in the UK, the EEA, Brazil or the UAE: when you first visit, our cookie banner lets you accept or refuse analytics cookies, and they are not set before you consent.
- If you are elsewhere:we set analytics cookies by default and don’t show a consent banner. You can opt out at any time (below), and where your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal we respect it.
- Change your mind at any time. Whatever your location, you can withdraw or change your choice using the “Cookie settings” link in our website footer — it is as easy to refuse or withdraw as it is to accept.
- Browser controls. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you refuse or remove cookies and tell you when one is set — see your browser’s help pages. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time — for example, if the cookies we use change. The “last updated” date above shows when it last changed.
6. Contact
If you have any questions about this policy or your privacy, contact us at privacy@stateratech.io, or see our Privacy Policy for how to reach our UK representative and how to make a complaint.
